Madilyn is a Pieces who enjoys long, spiritual discussions with her partner Kevin, traveling to experience culture and community, and cultivating open hearted connections.

Patsy Springer, E-RYT 200 is certified in Hatha and Vinyasa flow yoga and has been teaching since 2006. She has advanced studies of Yin, sequencing, and the Chakras. She teaches with an emphasis on powerful, playful sequences and is known for her empowering, dreamy flows that make you sweat, smile, cry, and give thanks for the beautiful journey of life. Patsy is a Leo, a mama to lots of furry friends, is a friend to all, and enjoys tapping into her creative side while painting or at her partner Chad’s concerts!

Bridgid Bibbens I discovered the transformational power of yoga in 2005, when I entered a hot power yoga studio in Boston hoping to find a form of exercise that would firm up my wobbly bits without having to go to a gym. While I certainly did lean out and tone up my frame, the true benefits of yoga went so much deeper than that. I discovered that yoga is the best doctor, therapist, and personal trainer I could possibly have.

Sean Riley I believe in the healing powers of movement. I want to share this with my students as we grow together, as they become my teachers. Yoga helps me to find my breath, and the space in between the moments. An authentic practice is central to my sanity and helps me to fully experience the people and things around me.

300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

2019 300hr Teacher Training Dates

Select 12 of our 25hr modules to create your own 300hr RYT experience!

Teaching Skills: Yamas/ Niyamas
Teaching skills will focus on exploring the Yamas and Niyamas: yoga’s moral and ethical principles. We will dive into deep conversations about how to incorporate these life changing practices into your lifestyle and teaching! You will learn how principles like ahimsa (non-violence) transcend our personal practice to how we relate to everything and everyone around us. Your teaching will be enriched as you assimilate the concept of aparigraha (non-attachment) into your teaching experience and the experience you provide to your students. Understanding the yamas and niyamas is essential to understanding and practicing yoga philosophy. This course will provide an introduction to the core concepts you can use to begin your personal practice and share this ancient wisdom with your students.
Advanced Asana
Advanced asana is a playful portion of yoga sequencing and can allow our students to experience a sense of accomplishment and curiosity as they approach their edge mindfully. Advanced asana requires focus, ease of mind, strength, mobility and patience. This practice has a unique way of drawing us into deeper levels of concentration and ultimately the present moment. As we move through various advanced postures (arm balances, backbends, inversions, etc.) we will look at how to safely prepare the body, modify postures and unwind and decompress with counterposes to reset. This module will educate you on how to teach advanced asana so you can create practices and lead your students with awareness and confidence.
Assisting & Adjusting
Assisting & Adjusting can be an overwhelming facet of teaching as it crosses into the personal boundaries of our students. With knowledge of how the body moves and works we can mindfully offer adjustments to help our students refine their practice. Assisting and Adjusting is all about learning how to enhance your verbal cues and learn how to safely use your body and hands to help foster alignment, depth as well as offer gentle therapeutic releases.
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a beautiful practice where we hold the poses for 3-5 minutes to help release tension deep in the body. Considered the sister yoga of massage therapy, Yin gives the body time to connect with the fascia tissue and realign the importance of healthy muscles. Often paired with aromatherapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin gives the participant an experience of healing through the energetic meridians to the internal organs. While the release is found, this practice is different than Restorative in the fashion that Yin can be difficult to hold the poses as it dives into the deep muscular system.
Chakras
Our Chakra system can be considered the ‘psychology of yoga’, as it describes our emotional and energetic world and how we can dive into more than just the physical realm when we step onto our mats. This sacred system is considered to have seven main ‘spinning wheels’, or Chakras through the body, with each aligning with different emotional senses and needs. Yoga students can learn more about their internal world and overall wellbeing by the study of their own Chakra system.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a practice of rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. It helps cultivate the skill of conscious relaxation. A restorative practice is a healing practice for the nervous system, the physical, emotional & mental bodies. In this module, you will experience the rest that restorative yoga brings, learn how to utilize props, learn how to teach, set up, sequence and how to hold space for deep restoration.
Anatomy
This module is all about educating yogis on basic anatomy and the nervous system principles that will make you better able to understand your own body and your students. The human body doing yoga today is much different than even 100 years ago because of societal demands & technology, and the best ways to keep you and your students healthy to account for these sudden changes. We will explore how the body and the nervous system work to teach safe & holistic classes. We will focus on how yoga, breath, stillness and other yogic principles scientifically improve your brain function, emotional control, the physical body and subsequently change your life!
