Black Swan Yoga’s 200hr Intensive Teacher Training is a 4 week program that occurs from 8am-6pm Monday-Friday! BSY’s Director of YTT, Madilyn McCarthy, is the Lead Trainer for our 200hr program and is joined by Associate Trainers Felicia Vijitchanton and Patsy Springer. Our Yoga Alliance Registered Training covers:

Alignment, Sanskrit, benefits, and how to teach Hatha Yoga with an emphasis on Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga
Practicing and teaching meditation and pranayama (breath work)
Anatomy and physiology in relation to yoga asana
History, philosophy, and lifestyle of yoga
Chakra system in relation to psychology
Hands on assisting and adjusting
Business and ethics of being a yoga teacher
Prenatal and postnatal introduction
Advanced asana introduction
Restorative yoga introduction

A day in the life of a Yoga Teacher in Training:

8am-9:30am Asana
9:30am-10am Meditation
10am-1pm Alignment, Anatomy, and Assisting
1pm-2pm Lunch Break
2pm-3pm History, Philosophy, & Lifestyle
3pm-4pm Chakras & Self Study
4pm-6pm Practice Teaching


$2,800 ($500 deposit + $2,300 payment)
Early Bird Rate of $2,500 is available if tuition is completely paid by June 3, 2017
