Angelena is a registered 500 hour adaptive yoga teacher. Angie's classes focus heavily on alignment, breath technique and self-awareness. Expect to sweat, move through dynamic postures, and find grounding in your body. Classes usually end with a short meditation and end with singing bowls. Growing up in Hawaii, Angie spent her days outside hiking in the mountains and on her board at the beach. Her love for this mindful practice began in 2007 when she went with her dad to her first yoga class. "I saw yoga as a way to stretch my body and support my other activities. I liked the challenging movements, the heated vinyasa classes, and the feel of ease I hadn't found anywhere else." Over the years, yoga became a mindfulness practice for Angie. She was able to find balance in her active life with the gentler practices of yin, restorative, and slow flow.
