With yoga, each experience on my mat always seems to be exactly what I need – a sigh of relief, a calm and clear feeling. So, naturally I love this practice. In 2013, I completed my 200-Hour Teacher Training through Black Swan Yoga. After 2 years of teaching, I was craving more education, and completed my 300-Hour Advanced Teacher Training through Practice Yoga Austin in 2016, which included a mentorship with Shanti Kelley. Incorporating the influences of my training, the core of my teaching is alignment based. My classes are challenging, but allow students of all levels to sink into their practice and tap into how their body feels in that moment. The practice of yoga is grounding and humbling. For me, it's become a mentality and lifestyle beyond time spent on my mat, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to share it with others. The yoga community in Austin is incredible, and I hope to see you in the studio soon!
