In May of 2011 I embarked on a journey to change my life through health and fitness. As my body began to go through physical changes my mental focus began to shift. In December of 2014 I decided to quit my job as a manager at a luxury boutique salon and follow my passion for fitness and became a Pilates and Barre instructor. As my curiosity for health and fitness grew I discovered yoga at Wanderlust Yoga in downtown Austin. I was immediately drawn to the community that Yoga provides as well as the physical benefits a challenging Power Vinyasa class. In March of 2017 I completed my 200hr Teacher Training at Wanderlust Yoga under the direction of Gioconda Parker, Kate Waitzkin and Collette Hill. In May 2017 I began teaching Yo-Strong at Wanderlust but still had a desire to teach Power Vinyasa which lead me to Black Swan in 2018. I would describe my classes as alignment based, upbeat, and motivating. Also, with a background in Pilates and Barre you are guaranteed to get plenty of core work. My top priorities as an instructor are to provide a fun and safe environment for all skill levels; wether it’s your first yoga class or you’re a well seasoned yogi.
