I discovered the transformational power of yoga in 2005, when I entered a hot power yoga studio in Boston hoping to find a form of exercise that would firm up my wobbly bits without having to go to a gym. While I certainly did lean out and tone up my frame, the true benefits of yoga went so much deeper than that. I discovered that yoga is the best doctor, therapist, and personal trainer I could possibly have. My yoga practice has cured physical ailments, disordered eating, and even gave me the strength and confidence to leave a dangerously abusive relationship. As a professional musician, yoga has helped me to center myself before taking the stage. It’s helped me to find ease throughout the most challenging situations, both on and off my mat. I try to carry that easy approach throughout all aspects of my life, and share it with everyone I meet. I truly believe that yoga is for everybody and every body. I keep a fun, lighthearted, playful energy throughout my classes, while helping to strengthen those who attend my classes from the inside out.
