My Go-To Dinner!

I make this meal all the time. One reason is because it takes about 30 minutes to make. The next reason is because obviously it’s healthy and delicious. This is the meal that is for all of you that get home late and didn’t prepare a meal beforehand. It’s quick and easy, just make sure your meat is defrosted! It’s kind of a knockoff version of the stuffed cabbage dinner and you get your dose of cabbage!

What you’ll need:

1 package lean ground beef or turkey

Half of a large onion- chopped

1-2 garlic cloves-minced

1 14oz can petite diced tomatoes

1 8oz can tomato sauce- I’ve not had this a couple times and it still came out great

Half a head of cabbage- chopped

salt and pepper to taste

How to prepare:

In a large pot or skillet, heat up some coconut oil on medium high heat. Once warm, brown your meat until it’s no longer pink. Then throw in the onion and let that start to sweat. Once the onion looks translucent, throw in the garlic and stir it around for another minute or two. Put the tomatoes, cabbage, and a generous amount of salt and pepper, stir it all around. Cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes. Viola!
