Michelle began practicing yoga in 2004 after the birth of her oldest son. "I was looking for a way to strengthen my body and calm my mind. I began my yoga practice with my teacher in Kuwait in the lineage of Ashtanga Yoga." After living in the middle east and Israel for five years, Michelle moved back state side with her family and began studying Vinyasa yoga. During that time Michelle completed her M.Ed in Education and Curriculum Development and taught history and literature. Michelle started teaching yoga in Austin, TX in 2015, and she completed her advanced training in alignment based vinyasa in 2016. Michelle's philosophy on yoga is that it is the integration of the physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual bodies; it is the realization that through union there is no separation.
